Stupid Poem I Wrote Because I Thought I Was In Stupid Love
Dear Macy Dawson,
I had this idea
That I could write a poem,
Because you are a poem reading kind of person.
Tragically,
And much to my dismay,
I am not much of a poem writing kind of person.
I wanted you to know
That despite my best efforts
I still think,
Still miss,
Still dream about you sometimes.
I also think that you should know,
I realize that “I’m sorry”
Has lost its meaning from me to you,
No matter how much I really do mean it.
But I don’t want you to think for a second that I ever stopped
Thinking about,
Missing,
Or loving
You.
